2022 Australian’s bid allegations
According to the report that has been released all across the Australia stated that the FOOTBALL Federation Australia believes it is in the clear over the bidding process for the 2022 World Cup after FIFA absolved it of misconduct. In accordance to this statement the FFA recently released the report discussing about the allegations in regards with the letter sent by the world body, however they are strict to their comments that the case has no grounds and whatsoever.
The reports also claimed $11 million dollars of taxpayers’ money in which they decided to spend right and do a lot of budget regarding the bid on two European-based lobbyists Peter Hargitay and Fedor Radmann without informing the Federal Government.
FFA CEO Ben Buckley said in a statement: ” We stated all along that those damaging allegations were false. Subsequently we have been cleared by the Federal Government, independent auditors and now by FIFA. With this behind us we can now concentrate on our Bid to bring the biggest sporting event in the world to Australia in 2022.”
