A$15 Million Worth of Bonus Stuns Employees
The employees of a bus company were all stunned to find in their bank accounts thousands of dollars worth of money. At first they thought this was all due to a bank error. But they were elated to find out that the money was from their boss.
Ken Grenda, an Australian bus operator, handed out A$15 million worth of bonuses to his employees as a sign of his gratitude to them. His 66-year-old bus company, which has been family-run, was sold and Grenda thought about giving a share of the profit to his employees believing that they deserve it for their loyalty and hard work.
As much as A$100,000 was received by most employees while the average amount received was A$8,500.
“A business is only as good as its people, and our people are fantastic. This is to recognize that. We have had people here who are second generation, and one fellow in the same job for 52 years.”
An employee for five years, Vernon Franklin, was elated to find what was in his bank account.
“I was overwhelmed with the generosity of Mr Grenda. I think we are losing a great man,” said.
Another employee of 15 years, Iain Beberidge, said the act was more other than money. He said. “Ken looked after his employees, he treated them like family. Every time he comes past the depot, he shakes everyone’s hands, and says ‘g’day’.”
Even after the company has already been sold, the workers have all been absorbed.
This is one gesture of pure generosity and gratitude. It is not everyday that we get to see an employer who values the efforts and time shared by his employees. And the amount that had been received by the workers is enough to bring them and their families better lives.
And for people who are still waiting for their employees to do and feel the same, payday cash advance is willing to lend a helping hand to Australians who are 18 years old and above and who have a job and an active checking account.
Advance loans are accessible online so it may also be called instant cash loan as its processing and transfer time takes less than 24 hours. It also does not burden its borrowers with interest as the whole borrowed amount has to be returned by the next payday.
