According to the consumer alert last week said that a group of Connecticut-based companies involved in advance fee loan scams have been the subject of numerous complaints to Better Business Bureau offices across the nation, the Connecticut Better Business Bureau. The worst part is that people being targeted are already suffering tremendous financial hardship.” said Paulette Scarpetti, president of the Connecticut BBB.
BBB offices have received complaints about advance fee loan scammers that operate under more than 75 different company names, including Acclaim Equity Group, American Linx Financial, Capital Alliance Financial Group, Hartford Financial Services, Hazelton Financial, Howard and Clark Financial, Mont Samson Financial, Transgroup Services and Trillium Investment Lending, among others.
