Beware of cash-advance robbery
From the recent report regarding cash advance in Daytona Beach stated that there has been a robbery happening. According to the report from a DeLand police official statement that a man wearing a bandana and brandishing a pistol entered a money store Friday in DeLand and robbed it. Jerard Johassen Bell, 29, did not get far. DeLand police and sheriff’s deputies caught up with him near Interstate 4 and State Road 472, police Sgt. John Anderson said. Bell was identified by witnesses from the store and charged with armed robbery.
The said police added that Bell walked into the Florida Cash Advance store at 2249 S. Woodland Blvd. at 12:15 p.m., showing off the semi-automatic handgun, and demanded money. He was given an undisclosed amount of money and he took off. DeLand police and sheriff’s deputies spotted the vehicle near I-4. Bell was taken into custody at 12:28 p.m.
