So because of that we would like to bring awareness and safety measures for people so that they have idea on how we can avoid series of online money scams:

When you are buying online:

  • Never disclose any information with regards to transaction process this includes transferring and receiving money
  • Check your website privacy and returns policy
  • Ask for a printable copy for receipts
  • Make sure that your personal passwords are secure

When you want to buy something:

  • Make sure that you know the details about the person or company you are dealing with
  • Get the legal information that you need,

  • Just the same, determine if the website that’s offering these easy cash loans are purely legitimate or if they are legally known.

If there are certain things that are unclear to you, in terms of your transaction, make sure that you addressed it at once and verify the weight of the transaction. If for instance, you think you have been a victim of the scam. Make sure you have all the details before you check it out with your security officer or a police officer.

Make sure you have a follow up questions with the company with their actions and their negotiations. If you are frequently using PayPal, or your own credit card, and the stuff you bought or transact online never came, then ask the credit card or PayPal to investigate the issue.

Remember that buying or transacting online, or even via phone or mail can sometimes lead to these sorts especially without any knowledge whether the site has a proven track record, so make sure that everything is under your file or reported before it goes out of hand.
